my first wnw and what a great kit this is. all i need now is somewhere to keep the thing - it's massive!!

Nasty a/c but a fantastic model. Fine weathering. And if you like this one, I am pretty sure you will build more WNW models soon.  ;)

Richard next up is the wnw sopwith pup

Dave your right i made the base from a roofing slate with sand stuck on with pva and some scatter grass on top of the sand.

Absolutely stunning, Michael!  This is my all time favorite J.1 build.  The weathering is so realistic.

Hello Michael:

You model really looks the business with the subtle weathering.  Like someone said, you took a plain scheme and made it interesting and busy.  very nicely done.
