Graham,
Just said "welcome" on the Introduction Thread, now I see these! Nice work on all and I don't think you need be shy, we can all learn a bit from you by the look of these!
Cheers,

Thanks for the welcome & the comments. One thing that's always missing from my models is weathering. Despite 40 odd year of modelling, it's a process I have never mastered & having tried & made a hash in the past, I'm reluctant to ruin a model that has taken weeks of work!

I know exactly what you mean! I never seem to be able to weather mine that well. As you probably know, I brush paint all my models so difficult to use techniques (works well with spraying) like pre-shading. I tend therefore to use a combination of washes and dry brushing, but I never go overboard here myself.

Those are all great builds Graham. Keep em coming!

Hello Graham:
Nice work and thanks for sharing. Like Dave, I have a hard time with weathering techniques as well and am a bit hesitant to use them. Yours are very nice just the way they are.
Best

Very nice work Graham, you should be rightly proud of that WNW lineup. Nicely made and finished. Send your images to Wingnuts for their customers' models webpage.

A really nice collection of models Graham, they are very well made and painted, looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful work.
I never weather any of my models, I finish all mine in a fresh from the factory finish, all aeroplanes started off as being brand new, crisp, clean and sparkling, and besides that, I can't do weathering.......

Very nice stuff, the wing shading on the R.E.8 looks very, very convincing. :)
