It is my pleasure to present my rendition of Lt. Hans Auer's Albatros D.V from Jasta 32b dated at September 1917.
It is WNW kit with Taurus Models spring valves, spark plugs and intake manifold nuts as well as quite a lot of scratch details in the cockpit and around the engine. I hope you will enjoy these few shots as much as I enjoyed building it. Any comments are welcome.
I would like to pass my special thanks for Rowan Broadbent for generously donating me a set of his fantastic decals which I have used with pleasure to decorate the fuselage of this model.
I also wish to express my thanks to Bertl, who inspired me to detail this model more than I would without seeing his fantastic build log on GWITA forum.

PRZ,
Magnificent, and a pleasure to view. This is a very "classy" example of the modeller's art; congratulations on a great Build.
Cheers,

Beautiful Prz!!! Great photography too. Do you use flash for your pictures? How do you get such well-focused closeups? Thanks.

Many thanks for all your kind comments.

No, Bob, no flash, by no means! It would "burn" the photo, especially close-ups. I use Olympus E-550 camera, typical kit lens (14-45mm, 3.5-5.6) but for close-ups I add extra macro-lens (+2 or +4) screwed to the kit lens, the aperture set at min (i.e. f22) gives enough field-depth to get sharp close-ups. The speed with such a small aperture is long (1-3 seconds), so tripod is obligatory. This session was done with three lamps, unluckily still too much shadows on these shots - unfortunately I have no shadow-less cabinet, maybe I should at last buy one.

I echo what others already said...totally awesome and topnotch photography.
