Wonderful work on your Camel, K

Out of interest, what material did you use for the rigging?

Regards

Dave

I had to look again at the scale as I too thought that it was much larger. Super build and finish.

Exceptional Build K! Lovely Camel in any scale but better in that it is 1/48th and not 1/32nd as it looks to be!

The cowling is convincing... is that foil or paint?  if paint, what kind?  I'm on the hunt for the best metallics to use for 1/72.

Beautiful work K, I too thought it was the Wingnut Wings kit! Lovely job!

Hear hear! Enquiring minds would love to know!

That is a great Camel, no doubt about it. And as for the cowling, I would say it is painted.

And from my side, I do recommend Vallejo acrylics from Metal Color line.

Excellent work K and a great scheme to use for your Camel. You have achieved a superb finish.

Wonga Bonga was one of the schemes for the earlier Eduard Camel release of 2003 so it would be a great use of those decals for the 2022 Camel kit. Excellent result!

I have to echo what others have said above, and commend you on an exceptional build. The rigging is amazing, along with the overall finish of your Camel. Well done indeed.

Great work K
This one is beyond what I can do in 1/48 but it is nice to see how the rich live.

Indeed it is painted. I am using the Xtreme Metal from AK, but Vallejo Metal Color is also fine
