Title: Another change of pace - Miniart 1/16 Samurai figure
Post by: DaveB on April 24, 2022, 11:58:15 PM
Dear all -

I am not a real figure builder but I like to have a go at one (when I find a subject matter that appeals to me) occasionally.

This was a great change of pace and a thoroughly enjoyable build.

I made some small changes and additions - mostly to swords, scabbards, arm guard armour and face mask.  A kit that requires a lot of careful fitting so much cutting, filing, shimming, filling and sanding to get a good fit.

You may not claim to be a figure painter Dave, but you could easily be mistaken for one. I saw this before you renovated it - it now looks a very great deal better. I am looking forward to seeing it in reality.

As a fellow "not figure painter" I'm inspired by your work here Dave, he looks fantastic!
