Finally got the finishing touches on the Copper State Models GIII. Fantastic kit, equal to WnW in every respect.
Rigging is done with 0.12 monofilament.

Three more photos.

Lovely workmanship on your Caudron.
The tail booms on this aircraft almost make you think this should been a pusher aircraft ..........

Congratulations, your Caudron is a real beauty. I really like your finishing and riggings.

Top notch workmanship, very beautiful aircraft.
I just added this kit to my stash, looks like a superb kit.
Once again, just incredible detail and craftsmanship.

A Stunning build in all aspects! The rigging looks perfect and the very subtle weathering is also top notch. Brilliant build!

Beautiful work on a challenging Kit, the rigging and finish are really exceptionally well done! Just looking at the rigging alone indicates this was a long Building process, how did it compare to the "average" WW.I subject?
Cheers,
Lance

Absolutely beautiful work! I have a friend who may ask me to build his CSM G.III so I'm always eager to see and hear more about this kit.

Super model. As Rick has commented, the finish and weathering effects are superb and the rigging is marvelous.

Very very nice. Fine shading of the wings. Great true colours. Lots of rigging. What a model!!!

I can only sign what is already said about your great model!
The french blue-grey looks a bit strong on the blue side, but this may have the reason in the camera pictures and looks better in real.
I had not built yet my CSM Caudron G.IV in 1/48 but I wish this kit here was also available in 1/48.
Cheers,
Frank

Congratulation to one of the first documented assemblies of this kit.
Terrific model, so beautifully built! I can't get enough :)

Really well done - congrats on a superb model.

Thanks for the kind comments.
You are right Frank, the blue is not the right one, but it was the best I could get. I had to use Tamiya. Vallejo make a better match but I found it difficult to get hold of.

Excellent build LT!
Looks like another kit will be joining my stash :o

Hey LT!
the model you made is just wonderful!
may I ask how did you paint the rigging? did you paint the monofilament in advance or once it is in place?
thank you!

Hi Edo,
I painted the mono when it was in place.
I painted it in stages as I went so that I could reach all the hard to get at places and not get caught out at the end with some difficult to reach. I thinned the blue with thinners about 50%/50% and used a fine tipped brush.

wow! all my respects, sir, as it is a VERY hard work....
I ususlly paint mine in advance with a Sharpie, but the result is not as good as yours, but I won’t try to emulate you... I am too sure I’ll end up with a mess ::)
really stunning results!
