Has anyone figured out what to do with the second run of Renwal kits, the ones that were engineered for Aeroskin, but did not include it?
I've heard suggestion of silkspan, but even if I had it in hand, I wouldn't know how to apply it or color it.
I hate to throw anything away ever, but these few kits in my stash seem to be begging for it.
Thanks,
Rick

cover them with japanese paper and use clear warninsh to tighten the paper

Where do I find japanese paper? Is that something in an art supply store?

I think he means the sort of tissue paper that aeromodellers use.
Me, I'd stick the Renwall kits on eBay where they might appeal to a kit collector rather than a builder. Use the proceeds to buy an Eduard or Roden kit of the same subject.

My thoughts Exactly Sandy! Put them on here also in the Buy -Sell - Swap- and Trade section 8)

I guess we're agreed. After all, they are too light to be used as a doorstop.
I tried moving one on eBay a while ago with no success. Maybe I'll try packaging them as a lot, with one aeroskin kit and one non-aeroskin kit together. Back in the early 80s, it seemed like there was never going to be another 1/72 WWI kit produced in injection molded plastic, and there seemed to be a purpose in the Renwal kits.
