I've decided to build a W.29 in 1/72 scale, since I can't afford the WNW kit's silly prices :(
As far as I can see, there are several options - Toko (also reissued by Eastern Express), Pegasus and MPM, as well as a PE set from Start. Which would be the best kit to try to find? Eastern Express seems readily available, and I found one Pegasus on eBay, but I haven't found the MPM kit or Start PE for sale anywhere.
I've found good build reviews of the Toko and Pegasus kits:
Toko: http://www.internetmodeler.com/2004/august/aviation/toko_W29.php (http://www.internetmodeler.com/2004/august/aviation/toko_W29.php)
Pegasus: http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/about15577.html (http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/about15577.html)
Although I'm primarily considering 1/72, 1/48 is an option too.
Any advice, opinions and random thoughts will be appreciated :)
Thanks for your help, and Happy New Year!
Peter

File this under "random thoughts" -- the Pegasus kit looks pretty cool, with the white metal parts and the lozenge... No idea if it is any good though

Personally I beleive the MPM kit is the best option. Finely crafted kit for the money. Second would be the Toko kit. Cheaper and not that bad. A little TLC sweet buy.
