Alive and kicking Des.

Miamiangler gets my vote for the best "dry" comeback of the month; beautiful! Also glad to hear that all's well down under Des. (but the Mayans were a South/Central American Culture, on our time, not Aussie/NZ time?!) We may not be out of the weeds just yet...............
Cheers,
Lance

Well it's fine down under just at the moment, I'm a little further north than Des (not by very much though) and the sun has set, the crickets are chirping, my kids wont be quiet and go to sleep, the possums are running across my tin roof and I got a new fishing rod for my birthday.....

Anyway, the Mayans didn't have leap years so aren't we out by several months? i.e. the world should have ended seven months ago......
Also the Mayans had a concept of time 'folding' on itself every once in a while I'm lead to believe. The 'end of the world' calendar is the change from the 13th episode folding into the 14th or some such thing and their excellent, ages long calendar starts all over again.....

Hold on what's that nois

Nice Photo! But, it's missing 1 President, 100 Senators, and 435 Members of the House.

  Falcon and Jim,
Although I normally keep my politics completely off this forum I'm got to say I got a real kick from the Mayan Congressional Caucus photo and you guys sense of humor on a serious matter such as this. Jim actually I believe these fellas in the photo may well be the janitorial staff, all the rest are too busy at the moment, you know fiddling while Rome burns or planning their next vacations.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette

Merry Christmas to One and All

Yep, still here. FWIW, Squadron is having a "We're Still Here Sale" in honor of the occastion . . . . 30% off of your order.  I doubt if I take advantage of it though as the sequestration from the fiscal cliff result in elimination of my job.  From the frying pan into the fire.
