Title: Ponnier M.1
Post by: Dave Brewer on December 30, 2020, 08:36:15 AM
Anyone have information, even an informed guess, about what colour the metal components might be? I've drawn a blank so far.
TIA,
Dave.

Found a report on Hyperscale:
http://www.hyperscale.com/2014/features/ponnierm132ls_1.htm

Looks like aluminium panels and cowling, as on many other aircrafts of that time (other metals are to heavy). Of course alu may look different, depending of surface like polishing. I really like and use often Alclad "Dark Aluminium". The offer also alu and white alu paints.

Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Frank, that article is actually what prompted me to buy the kit, Leo did such a terrific job on his build. I should have been more specific, I was particularly wondering about the cockpit fittings, aileron control rods, horns and so on.
Thanks,
Dave.
