I just noticed the WW1 Aviation figures section says "What's New" so perhaps this should have been posted there?

D'ya think they both bought their boots from Nanny Whip's S&M Bondage Store?

Funny! These figures are not "Sculpted" in the Normal way. Some sort of 3D Hocus Pocus from Photos so although the boot lacing May look excessive it is probably accurate  8)
Thus the superb likeness on the Faces!

These are superb.Interesting what you say about the application of this current technology to figures Rick, certainly looks very promising.

The renderings look a bit different to the actual castings, Rickenbacker reminds me a bit of Elvis!

Merry Xmas

Yes I think these shots may be of the larger scaled figures.
The 1:32nd figures on their site are not exactly the same.

Yep ,thanks Mike, the difference is clear now,not that the 54 mm figures aren't still very nice. They have a great range,a few of the 90's are very tempting.
Cheers,
Dave.

Mike May be correct but personally I think the painting style has a lot to do with the different look. If they were hand sculpted I would be convinced ,but being Laser Sculpted makes Me wonder why there would be differences? The painting is beautiful, far better than My Mediocre skills, but in My opinion the style has taken away some of the harder lines of EVR's face  8) I guess as soon as the Christmas bills are paid off I will need to get one of each to find out.
JMHO,
