Greetings: Apparently there is a lot of buzz over jigs. I just purchased one, haven't got it yet, but it looks promising, from VERTIGO JIGS. http://www.vertigo-miniatures.com/vertigo/eshop/15-1-JIGS Check them out. I have no affiliation with them, just passing on a bit of information.

Wow, they look nice. A lot of them. Anyone in particular you recommend?

They do look nice. Looks like another parcel on its way to chez GCN.
I need a grown up to tell me the difference between the evo and basic

I have both the monoplane and biplane versions. They're very precise and plenty firm. Be sure to peel off the film prior to assembly- one of mine had blue film and the other clear. On the latter, I couldn't even tell that it had protective film on it until I tried to glue the upright to the base!

I was scoping out FB and found out, after I placed an order in Europe, there is a seller in the U.S. http://www.umm-usa.com/onlinestore/index.php.

I bought one of these. There is some cementing necessary. I found Gorilla clear glue much better than using epoxy or super glue. The rubber padding strips were applied with Weldwood contact cement.

I have been using a LMG jig. Works great. Also bought the biplane add on, but haven't used it yet.

Also, shows up on ebay occasionally.

I purchased the Vertigo Jig for 1/32 Biplanes, and I founded it to be nice but made with brittle plastic materials prone to break at any slight hit. Customer Service from Vertigo never sent the replacement part ( one of the holding legs). NO planning to buy anymore from this company and will stick with the plywood jigs, which are sturdier and cheaper

John at UMM-USA is a great guy, stocks great products. Beware, you'll break your wallet in there. ;) ;)
