Some final pictures of a build that was quite fun and that resulted in a finished model I'm more than happy with! Next up will be a Fokker...

Beautifully done Fredrik. Only way to tell if it isn't 1/32 is to look on the thread title. A superb job.

Very fine modelling job! Great to see completed models from other companies, not just WNW.

What a beautiful model, Fredrik. Amazing detail and very hard to tell that it's not the WnW 1/32 model.
Cheers,
Gary

Congrats Fredrik! You have now a nice looking Brisfit in your collection.

Thanks RAGIII and Frank! Frank, I used your build a bit as inspiration, but realised early on that you had gone all nuts in that build... ;)

Beautiful Fredrik
Guy
Thank you Guy, but I'm sure there are better ones out there... But again, I'm really happy with the overall impression of the finished model and viewed at a short distance it looks really good.

Fredrik,
I keep returning to this thread and the more I study the photos the more impressed I am with the quality of both the detail and the finish. Just a magnificent job, and like Gary I can't believe it's in 1:48 Scale. Beautifully done!
Cheers,
Lance

Nothing I can add to that! Well, other than the fact that I like the dull red tone of the upper wing markings :)

I was thinking the same thing, Guy.

I think it's the WNW kit! Seriously, outstanding work on this model. The rigging is top notch and well executed. The attention to detail on the guns and the scarf ring are exceptionally noteworthy, and has been mentioned the finish. If you wouldn't have listed it as an Eduard Bristol I would have thought it a Wingnut kit. A real joy to scope out.

That's a beauty! I have the same model (Roden, though) in my office at work and even though it doesn't look as nice as yours, I still get people commenting on it. Ahhh the Bristol!
Really nice job...Dan

Lovely work.
I usually like bigger Bristols but this shows that smaller ones, if perfectly formed can be every bit as nice.
Congratulations.

Great model, you did a very fine job.

What an absolutely beautiful model. Your workmanship is very inspirational.

You are all too kind in your comments! ☺️☺️☺️
If anyone should take anything from this build it should be that you can't really judge a build until it is complete and then realise that lots of mistakes along the way won't be visible or obvious once finished.
Let's see if I can do something fun with my Fokker.
Cheers Fredrik

I fully agree with Sandy ;)
It’s a lovely build and a superb finish. Whatever mistakes there are they are with the builder.
