Title: aileron/elevator hinges

Evening All

I am at the stage in my DH 1A strip down build where I am having to think about attaching the elevators and ailerons to the rigid flying surfaces. I have searched in vain for any photographs or drawings of what these hinges looked like on real aircraft. Does anyone have a photo or drawing to show how the hinges were attached?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Stephen ,

I don't have info on the DH-1a so really can't aid , but I came across this RC build which might be helpful on giving you an idea on how to go about making the hinges . .
