Special Hobby (1:48)

Here are some photos of my two Lloyd C.V modells, made a few years ago. I used the Special Hobby kits in 1/48 scale, they are built out of the box, for the rigging I used 0'1 mm fishing line.
The varnished plywood: base coat was Revell wood color, drawn over with color pencil and then, all wood surfaces, polished with coton. Final was model coated with coat of Future.
The kit goes together pretty well, it is very nicely moulded with fine details.

Your talent knows no bounds my friend. She's an absolute beauty! I love your woodwork painting and the camouflage are excellent. How do you apply your camouflage and what paints did you use for the colors. Outstanding and Well Done my friend.

A truly stunning pair of Lloyds, Saso!  This is one of the most aesthetically interesting and pleasing aircraft of the Great War and you've done a brilliant job replicating her.

That is a beautiful model. Can you explain your pencil over paint method a little more?

Thanks all.
Wood painting: base: Revell wood matt color, then I draw wood grains with sharp brown color pencil, with blunt brown color pencil I draw the blur wood effect and then polished model with coton patch in grains direction. Over one coat of Future - satin effect.
Camouflage: brown and green leafs: I used Revell brown and green-brown color, cut the sponge on cca. 2 - 3 mm pieces and simple printed the model with brown and green. On the sponge piece must be very small amount of color.
