Using the Pheon trainers and pets set.
These decals are exceptional. The fuselage fit was superb. Only took half an hour and snuggled down with microset. The stripes show through the code and roundel, but I had a spare 1/48 35 inch pair from xtradecal that fitted over perfectly.
I couldn't do the wing edges with decals. I used a blue sharpie marker pen and it took 5 mins tops.

I totally agree, Dave. Brilliant work and a tip of the hat to Rowan.

Dave,
This is very nice, love those "off-beat" schemes and Rowan's Decals always make the choice even better.

Cheers all.
This is a trainer/pet from the central Flying School around armistice time. There are 3 photos of it available, in Cross & Cockade.
The decals have been tremendous. The wheel spirals I fouled up but Rowan is kindly adding another pair for me.
I couldn't do the blue wing edge decals, too fiddly. I was really pleased with the solution- A Blue sharpie marker carefully along the edge. Job done in 5 mins.
I am using Gold Zack white elastic thread to mimic the RAF wires- got the idea off Mick Capell's RE8 in SAM.

Hello Dr. Dave:
Gotta agree with you, I sure love those colorful pups, and yours looks great. Not to steal your thread but; here's mine from last year.
