Title: Ian, from Doncaster (UK)
Post by: Ian from Doncaster on July 03, 2020, 08:01:49 PM
Not a new member but have had a “sabbatical”’ from the forum (and from modelling for the most part) for around 3 years.

Slowly getting back into things, but delighted to catch up.

I was saddened to note the passing of Des some time ago, such an inspiration and generous host.

Hope everyone is managing during this horrible pandemic.

Thank you, hope all is well.?

Well at the moment I have several things supposedly ongoing.

There’s a Trumpeter Me-262 in 1:32 that has been stalled for ages, an Airfix WW1 era omnibus in a similar part built state, and for WW1 a WNW Eindecker E.I about 60% complete.

But then the Airfix “Motörhead” He111 special arrived yesterday so I began that straight away.

I also just discovered the demise of WNW.  I have a 11 or 12 kits unbuilt and as much as I always wanted to build them, I don’t know if I should keep them as a rainy day investment.!

I agree.  Just need to get my mojo back.. I realised that the E.I I’m building has been on and off for 3 years..

Maybe I should jump in and go all out on the Felixstowe next..
