Was Al dope added to the green and brown paint on camouflaged  schemes as it was on the Salmson A2?

Soon be painting CSM Ni XVll Rene Dorme markings

To the best of My knowledge the answer is no. The two tone Nieuport schemes preceded the Aluminum Dope period.

Your are right Rag, 1916 two tone camouflage is done with paint , not dope
