Title: Sopwith Pup „Betty“, April 1917 (WNW, 1:32)
Post by: Borsos on June 05, 2020, 06:49:05 AM
Finally I finished that one. Great kit, awesome figures from Copper State Models (also the ladder is from them, although I had to change the RFC head of the mechanic for a more „Naval“ looking one from Hornet) Wing Cockpit and Kellerkind (who also offers the fuel cans). I enjoyed every minute of this build, maybe this made it so difficult for me to end this project finally. First time that I played around with micro engines and batteries. Won‘t be the last time.
I hope you like it.

Great looking Pup and I love the spinning prop. It really adds a lot to your fantastic model.

That is a beautiful model Andreas.  Your figures are particularly well-painted and really make the scene.  I love the spinning prop!  Great vignette.

Best rewgards,

Bob

Andreas I am frequently lost for words to give praise for your models. This is no exception - everything about it is exceptional and of a standard of which I can only dream. The figures are so realistic (especially the naval type holding his hat in the slipstream), and although I sometimes regard spinning props as a gimmick, that is decidely not so in this case.

Many congratulations on a brilliant build and mini diorama.

Stephen.

The storyteller has again created a storytelling diorama with a Pup - and fantastic painted figures. You are a real master modeller!
This is really a "WOW!" dio, with the running engine.

Cheers,
Frank

Hey Andreas - the realistic "feel" you have created with this scene is great. The spinning prop and the figures really work well together. Very impressive indeed.

Agree - you are very talented! It’s a subtle art getting a dio - even a relatively simple one - to tell a story and you do it very well ( as I know from my own sad and not very good personal experiences!). Well done!
