Title: Nieuport XXIII Blue
Post by: rolanddvi on May 11, 2020, 10:28:49 AM
I have been drooling over my recent Copper State NIE. XXIII purchase and was wondering what color blue do some of you use for French type aircraft? I looked at the instructions for a WNW Salmson and they show Tamiya XF-23 for Light Horizon Blue and XF-18 for Dark Horizon Blue. Curious as to what others use.

Thanks,
Mike

I like British PRU blue as a starting point. Other opinions may vary.

Good one Rob, although I'm not familiar with that shade!! lol

Thanks Rick, I'll take a look at that. To me the WNW call out seems just a little to grayish.
