Greetings from northern Alberta, Canada. My name is Lance, I have the same callsign on the "other" sites/forums, and I've been building models on & off for almost 60 years. Recently retired (although I have a very much part time "jobette" on the go.) I am an avid WWI aviation fan and have been back actively modelling for two years. I build in 1:32 Scale as the eyes and hands are no longer up to the smaller scales' challenges.
I recognise a lot of familiar names and builds here; like my other "forum home" I've joined here to share, learn, and get acquainted with folks of similar interests.
This looks like a great site off to a very positive start; looking forward to the experience immensely!
Cheers,
Lance

Always good to see another Canuck land here. You really are in the Great White North compared to someone like me in the banana belt of southern Ontario. ;D
Cheers,

An Oilers fan, eh? Well, welcome anyway, I guess. ;)

Just because he's out there doesnt mean he cant be a Leafs fan......although I cant think of a single reason why he would be...and why am I a Leafs fan?.....back to the model bench....

I'm reliably informed that the new Leafs jersey is a golf shirt. :'(

An Oilers fan for certain; 2015-16 will be different, just be patient! As for the Southern Ontario comments I'm a little sensitive. My "Good Wife" is determined to move back there, NOTL specifically (for those not from Ontario, Niagara on the Lake) and it frankly scares me to death! I'm quite happy to travel 200 miles to the Hobby Shop or shop by the Web, avoid the crowds, and just continue to enjoy the pleasures of this hobby combined with rural living, Thank You very much!
Thanks All for the great Welcome and comments, think I'm going to like it here!
Cheers,
Lance

The Toronto Marlies started their play off run. They picked up a couple of players from their NHL affiliate......
