Did anybody build the 1/32 Wolseley Viper engined Roden SE5a and not build it as Schweinhund?
I'm after the little conical spinner that was fitted over the boss.
Mine just pinged across the room never to be seen again. White frustrating after spending 2 days carving a prop and making sure it fitted the boss perfectly. :(
Will happily buy it off you.
Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks
Richie

I thought I had replied to this - is there one in the Roden kit?

Hi Richard, yes I reposted here. Thanks for the reply, I don't think I made it clear as Roden also provide the engine as a separate kit. The little conical spinner is supplied with the kit which has the red SE5a on the front. It isn't included in the other 1/32 kit (I have both and just checked) but I might try to turn one out of 6mm plastic rod or just fit a resin boss and have done with it. Life's too short to obsess over little things like that, maybe...

That is the kit I have
Which thread would you prefer to converse through? ???

This would be fine Richard as we're here. :)

Well, I'm afraid I have to let you down. I have checked my kit, that part is listed in the instructions, the kit has the 'Schweinhund' scheme, and that part is missing
What is odd is - I thought I had seen that part somewhere

No worries Richard, thanks for taking the time to look. I might make McCudden's kite or make Schweinhund without it.

Just make one. A cone on a bit of rod, file the front off the prop and you are done

Yep, shouldn't be difficult. I wanted to start learning about scratch building. This would be a nice easy place to start.
