On another website someone posted a link to the pictures from the Revell Germany table at a model show. One of the pictures showed a picture of a 1/500 scale WW1 zeppelin, the famous L59. Does anyone here have any info on this? It doesn't look too impressive here but in 1/500 scale it would be about 18 inches long.
Here's the photo-

Wow!! Neat subject in a bit of a weird scale. 1/350 or 1/700 would be better but its better than nothing...and the pic of BMvR...whats THAT attached to?.....

I would hazzard that it is for their Fokker Triplane.

Steve,
I think Mark is referring to the old Revell Fokker Triplane in 1:28 (?) Scale. Now there's an "Oldie but Goodie"!
Cheers,

Lance is correct: I was referring to the Revell 1/28 scale Fokker Triplane that they have released many times. However, Revell has some of the Eduard molds and have been repackaging them under the Revell of German name, so.....it may well have been the re-boxing of the Eduard kit.

Who cares about the triplane, anyone have info on the L 59? If it really is a kit I want one.

Now that's an very interesting subject to model!

Well I cared about the triplane if it was a leap into new mould territory but apparently its not. :-\
