All,
Here is another paper model. It was fun to put together with a few tweaks and additions as well as some post folding/gluing airbrushing to give some depth. I may have overdone it on lots of it, but it's growing on me. I saw some shots of these planes and they can look a little rough! But, alas, I saw a spic and span shot of this actual plane only after I'd weathered. Oh, well. Still cool
Maybe a nice Halbersatdt D-II next as a mate. We'll see.
Thanks for looking...Dan

Another fantastic build, Dan! The pulley system for the wind warping really puts this aircraft in the "String Bag" category.
Take it easy,

Outstanding Dan, congratulations on completing another beauty.

How you can make these paper model complete with pulleys for wing warping and fully rigged is beyond me. You are certainly an accomplished modeller in paper!

Another unique and really well done model Dan, you are certainly proving that there can be great quality after plastic. These paper Builds are becoming more impressive with every production you present, great work! 8) 8) 8)

Thank you so much, Rick, Kevin, Stephen, Lance, Ed and Juan! I'm glad folks here who are spectacular modelers appreciate these little guys. They are great fun and don't make a WNW-sized dent in my wallet. They are fun since they sort of are a cross between balsa modeling, scratch building and plastic techniques. I'll see what other WWI types I can post here.
Cheers and happy modeling (again)...Dan
