Great model, great scheme, and great detail! I am particularly impressed with the finish Terri, you've really pulled off a winner here. This a difficult Kit (ask me how I know this) and you've really produced a winning result. Congratulations and you can be very proud of this little beauty!
Cheers,
Lance

Very nice model Terri - you've done a superb job.

A beautiful model, Terri. No flaws that I can see. The contrasting black and white scheme is an eye-catcher.

That is the best looking Roden SSW D.III I have seen built. Congrats on a beautiful outcome, Terri!
Well done!!

As always I enjoyed following your processes on this build Terri. Lots of ideas for when I tackle Mine! The results are a Striking scheme on a beautifully executed build!

Thank-you everyone for the very kind comments on the build and thanks for following along . It's great support and encouragement to keep moving forward with even better builds !
Lance , I have been playing around a bit with my final finish . Different effects can be had on how much the clear coat is thinned . I have been using Tamiya's clear coats for this . I don't care for there flat . It has to much of a shine for my liking but it works good as a base filter for weathering with pastels .

Wonderful work, Terri. so many different surfaces to discover, lots of different tones, just great.

You showed a nice piece of history here, to remember a short period in the Siemens history. I worked for this company longer than it produced planes!
Cheers,

Thanks a lot Manni for the kind comments , much appreciated 8) :)
Guten Tag Frank , danke sehr !
When I first started building WW1 aircraft I had no idea that Siemens was a telecommunications company until I did a review on Looms Models SSW D.III Late resin set and still around to this day since the late 1800's .

Sweet work, Terri! I learned a lot on your build. Great attention to detail. Even the underside is lovely.
What's next? Running out of drugs down here... ::)

Thanks Dan ;D
Well I have a self queen CSM Rumple 6B.1 float plane . Build thread is all ready on the go . And I also have a ME 410 heavy fighter which I have started cutting plastic for clean up . Build thread is in the off topic builds section thing - me - bob .
Not sure if this aids in you addiction , but it should wet your carvings ;)

How did I miss the debut of this little beauty? A lovely subject, colourful livery and very fine execution. Congrats, Terri - this one surely adorns your collection!

I am so pleased that you finished this one Terri - in spite of the problems and words along the way. This is not one of the better known late war types which makes it all the more interesting, and the scheme is certainly eye catching. A super build log too - in all an excellent build in every conceivable way.
Stephen.
