After the numerous challenges of the WNW Halberstadt, I decided to build something simple before taking on the Biff for the GB. Inspired by the recent WNW announcement of their Gnome Pup, I thought I'd go ahead with a project I've had planned for a couple years.

Thanks, Amigo!
As I said, this is a simple kit and the cockpit's already finished. Just about to close it up inside the fuselage.

Thanks so much, my friends! Sorry I didn't respond to each comment individually, but I've been extraordinarily busy lately and every spare minute has gone into the build.
The Pup is a fairly quick and easy build. That's why I chose it.
I've got her painted and decals applied.

Started rigging the tail. I should have her finished by the weekend.

What paint brand is your green?
Ryan

Thanks, Ryan! It's Humbrol 155, one of the WNW call outs for the Gnome Pup.

Looks great Bud, you beat Wingnut Wings to their new release. Really like how she is progressing.
-
Wonderful work, Bud. The seatbelt looks great, the interior is very nice and the cowling looks superb.
Bye,
Manni

Looks awesome, Bud!
-
Looks very nice, Bud. Did you have any problem areas with the kit? One person reported problems with the fit of the bottom wing to the fuse and a sizable gap there. Maybe it was his doing?
-
Great update - quick for you....me not so much......

Always liked the Pup,
Yet another on the list. Looks great Bud.

Thanks for tagging along!
Cheers,
Bud
P.S.- Yes, Ken, the wing to fuselage joint was a problem, but I think with proper planning and test fitting, it'll go together without a hitch. My last Pup was a breeze.
-
Beautiful, Bud!! Thanks fr sharing your build, here!
-
Another beauty Bud, congratulations on a fantastic build.
-
Job well done, Bud. I think the subtle shading of the wing ribs works well and has a nice appearance.
Looking forward to more pictures.

Great looking pup!!
