Hallo, here are pictures of my finished CSM Ni 17 early (I still need to arrange a proper photo studio ::) ). It's my first 1/32nd WW1 aeroplane completed and to paraphrase Des it was a learning experience. I have a late model Ni17 at first stages and an Albratros D.V started over two years ago standing by but first of all the LVG C.VI for the group build.
About this livery has been taken fromMarc Chassard monography on Ni17 and was one of the mounts of Paul Tarascon, I add a picture of the original taken from the internet.
Ciao

The spinner on the model reminds me of red nose day! That is a superb model - studio photos or not - it oozes quality in every way.

Thank you Stephen for your kind comment. In effect, the "cone de penetration" with flag colours was the decisive detail in my livery choice.

Very nicely done Giuseppe, the colors are striking. A great start into the larger scale arena, she's a beauty!

Thank you Lance, it's a great fun building the larger scale: not easyer, feeling the need for more details, but really relieving for eyesight and merciful for handling.
I think it will become my favourite.

It's great to see it finished, Giuseppe. The 'cone de penetration' certainly makes it interesting. Also the lack of national insignias on the top sides I believe, is unusual.

Ditto to all the above comments !!!

Wow!
I've come very late to this party.
How were the individuak markings details achieved?
Wonderful work - I've been searching for decals for this a/c for a while and have not found anything - I'd welcome your advice

Beautiful work! One can never have too many Noops! Tarascon is such an interesting character too. I do love the early birds in this series.

I see CSM are releasing a figure of Paul Tarascon which would be the perfect match for this build. I was wondering where did you get the decals from, I've had no luck finding them and I would love to do the same scheme?
The figure...

The photo which I think the figure is based on...

Marvelous Nieuport, Guiseppe! Excellent work all around and your color choices look spot on.

That is beautifull work. Other than that I love this aircraft. It?s a pleasure to see it done so well.
