Not sure if you want these posted here Dave? Please move it if you have a GB Completed Models section planned.
But.. my Des tribute build is done - before the start deadline! I probably ought to rustle up another entry.
Thanks for those following along in the progress section :) I’ve still to add the wing compass decal - enroute from Canada as we speak - many thanks to Terri for that.
Lovely build, but a few issues - cowlings a bit tight, and decals were a disaster! But she looks ok in the pics I reckon.
Anyway, see what you think...

Great, great, great. I like your Halberstadt very much. You raised the bar very high with that camo. And any issues with decals are hard to spot... Congratulations!
-
A beautiful outcome, Guy.
Well done!
vB :)

Guy,
She's the stunning work of a Master Level modeling my old friend. Congratulations and Well Done.

A truly Stunning build from interior to rigging! The camo is perfect and the rigging is excellent. A fitting Tribute to Des.

Guy what else to say but just fantastic.
I hope you submit to WNW customer models.

What is next on the bench, how about a monoplane....?
Ryan
-
Excellent modeling Guy!
Mark
-
Most excellent build from beginning to end. Des would be proud.
-
Wonderful. I really love her, don’t know what to praise most. And one of the fastest builds I had ever the joy to follow. Are you sleeping at night?
Best regards
Andreas
-
Ah thank you all!
What is next on the bench, how about a monoplane....?
Ryan
There is a monoplane! A 1/18th Fw 190... blasphemy I know...
Guy what else to say but just fantastic.
I hope you submit to WNW customer models.
Ryan

What the others have written - simply super and a wonderful tribute from one master modeller to another. The finish is simply unique!
Stephen.

Great results, so FAST!
Far beyond my building pace.
-
Excellent under every aspect, but what Ilike the most is camouflage. Very well done.
Ciao

Impressive speed and quality!
In the same time you have done the whole project I wasn't able to finish a almost reada one, simply unbelievable.
The camo painting is very interesting, well done.
Cheers,
Frank
-
Exceptionally well done especially the camo effect , no doubt now as to how to render the splatter!
-
Absolutely amazing work, Guy. I'll be studying these pictures a lot. You've just convinced me to obtain this model. Congratulations on an stunning build. I couldn't be more impressed. I actually saw this on FaceBook and had to nip over here to get a better look.
Cheers,
Gary

Wow... so impressed... To think that we've become so used to seeing this high standard of model making.
A pleasure to see.

I can only repeat all that has been said - simply outstanding. That you have made such a beauty in that timeframe makes it breathtaking. I'm in awe...
Cheers

I just want to add my vote of appreciation on another top shelf build Guy,and thanks for the tutorial on executing the camouflage,I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Congratulations,
Dave.
-
Super lovely. Gotta finish mine. You really nailed it! Two big thumbs up from me...Dan ;) ;) ;)
-
Ditto to all of the above! You are a modelling machine. Great result. Cheers matt
-
Thank you all,
But I think you’re being over generous! ;D
The camo really is a lot easier than it looks...
Guy
-
She's truly stunning, Guy! And you finished her in heart stopping speed! Very, very impressive, my friend! I think you're being overly modest. That camo can't be as easy as you say. So many ways it could go south, yet you pulled it off spectacularly. Now you've got me itchin' to start mine.
Cheers,
Bud
-
Thanks Bud,
Will look forward to seeing yours!

Outstanding Guy, I wish I had just a fraction of your talent and speed, in the time you have produced this beautiful build I have barely scratched the surface of my ongoing build ( box lid off, parts and instructions located and read, reference material gathered and that's it :o), truly amazing and thank you for all the handy hints.
