Title: My attempt at this
Post by: pepperman42 on February 06, 2019, 02:11:11 AM
When I first discovered the ww1aircraftmodel.com site it was the "Which Model Would Suit Me" article that I read first. I loved the thoughtful approach to the subject - straight forward but not condescending. I was hooked. As the forum flourished this same, consistent, like minded fairness was evident in all the members. Struggling with a number of things over the years I have had/made very little time for the work bench. This memorial build I hope will change that, so - starting out (again) - I will try to build the Roden 1/32 Dr1. Kit, decals, accessories and reference material pics to follow. Thanks Des. Thanks Dave

Steve

Great choice Steve, an icon and the only 1:32 DR.1 in town. It builds into a very nice model with a few extras and I hope to build another or two myself! I'll be following your progress and looking for helpful pointers along the way.
Cheers,
Lance

Steve,
I'm in the same boat as you.
Little time spent at the bench and lack of mojo has seen me build 2 aircraft in 10 years...shocking!

This memorial group build has really focused my attention and as such I will be doing my utmost to finish my Sop Tripe before August.
