Hi
Finally done! Quite tricky in getting proper vs. on the shelf out of this short run kit. In order to do “a” vs. you must alter the cowling inlets by adding them in the front bottom. PE includes the prototype inspections and vents as well, but IMHO rest of the kit is not in the line to perform such. I have added also Gaspatch 08/15 guns

Beautiful model! The wood looks really great and the Aviattic lozenge gives a sensational contrast to the black tail.

Your builds are always a pleasure to follow and this one is no exception. Outstanding results as always K.

Roland looks great.

What a little gem you've created, K! She's absolutely stunning!

I completely agree with Bud and Rick: a great build thread and a superb model. The wood finish is so realistic.

Very well done.

This build was well documented in the build thread, thanks for that, and you made a really nice model from a shortrun kit!
I would be lucky, if my kit looks at the end as nice as yours. What I have seen in the box demotivated me a bit after all the nice Eduard and Copper State Models kits around, but as we can see - a good modeler can create a nice model also from such limited base.
Cheers,
Frank

Beautifully done K, great build log too. Congrats on another beauty.

It is not an easy kit to build . Start one a while back now and it end up as a shelf queen . You did a super job on this build :)

Hello

That's a very nicely done Roland, K. The wood effect is really well done and the finish on the rest as well. Lovely work and a Model to be proud of!
Cheers,

impressive finish of the model considering quality of the set from which you built it

Very well done from a rather basic looking kit! :)

Great Roland, Krzysiek! I like it very much, the combination of plain wood and lozenge make is so lovely. Nice work!

I can't see the pictures! Is it me or have they been deleted because they are old? I have both kits and would love to see finished pix!

Hi sidevalve - it looks like the original pictures are gone, I'd say the original poster may have changed image hosting sites at some point.
The original poster (KrzysiekK) hasn't been active on the forum since May, perhaps consider sending him a PM to see if he can re-post the pictures? I am happy to do so, if you wish?
Cheers!

Thanks Brad - will do. It seems to happen quite often nowadays, because some of the image hosters have started charging since the photos were posted - I just wanted to check it wasn't a problem my end. And while we are at it, I LOVE your models! Thanks again and cheers - Alan (sidevalve)
