Parrallele to my Pfalz I will start a new build. It will be Voss Fokker F1 with olive nose and Le Rhone 110 hp engine.
Martin
-
Nice start, I am looking forward to seeing this one come together!
RAGIII
-
Thank you RAGIII. The change between two builds is a slow build, but one model can dry and the next will paint and glue.
Martin
-
Fuselage inside painted ( CDL and wood colour) and parts glue. Cockpit not complete.
Martin
-
The cockpit is ready. The air intake for the engine is selfmade.
Martin
-
Hello Radio
It will be especially interesting to see your build because I have one on the sidelines. You've certainly made a nice start.
Best wishes
Nigel

Hello Nigel
this model is from the duel combo set. The other plane was for a scatch build to a Fokker D VI. The decals were made from Peddinghaus Decals. I have send pictures for made some in scale 1:48. So I have decals for Boelkes Alb D II, Schapes Rol D VIa and for Fokker F I Serial 102 and 103.

That streaking looks difficult to do, Martin. How did you do it?
Lindsay
-
LindsayT
it is not very difficult. First I use white primer from Revell to paint the light sights and gray primer for the olive sides.
Then was the white primer overpainted with turquoise blue and the gray primer with olive.
I have an old cut brush to streak with olive paint over blue. The sides of the fuselage vertical and all top sides diagonal with very dry brush.
Martin
-
I have tape the section for the white fields of German cross and painted it.

I found this a little late, Martin. Nicely done, The streaking is just sufficient for the effect and the bluish silver below stands out nicely. Your Base/Setting is beautiful and sets the model off nicely; I am really impressed with your refueling cart and may have to steal that idea from you! ;)
Nice work!
Cheers,
Lance
