D3540 "K" Vickers built from 40 Sqn. flown by Capt. G.H. Lewis.
This kit had more rigging than anything I have tried to build so far. All the double wires taxed my vision and nerves to the limit. However, I had a blast building it. Maybe I'm ready for something more complicated. or not........

From the results I see on this one I'd say so, Robert. The Se5a is a tough job of rigging, or was for me IIRC, and you've aced it! I'd say you're ready for the ultimate test of your nerves, get a DH.2 or a "Fee" and have at it!! ;)
Nicely done model!
Cheers,
Lance

Robert,
Honestly my friend you have nothing to worry about. You're ready for something more complicated and your beautiful Se-5a shows that so well. You've got yourself one excellent Se-5a. Well Done!

Wonderful model, beautifully finished and superbly rigged.
I agree with Lance - if you want something a little more taxing to rig try a pusher such as the Gunbus or FE 2, or even a monoplane such as the Taube (early). A Maurice Farman Longhorn could be fun too…...

Outstanding work Robert! Like the others have said you nailed the rigging!

Very nice indeed, Robert. I can never tire of seeing an SE5a. You bet you're ready to tackle even more challenging rigging. Maybe a DH2 beckons?
Best wishes

Well done Robert, you should be very proud of what you have achieved, the overall finish on the model is excellent and the rigging is superb.

Robert, THAT is outstanding! I don't think you need to worry about rigging or anything else! Beautiful work!!

Thanks for the kind words.
I had so many screw ups on this kit, I'm just happy to finish it. (have ya ever gone in with a pair of sizzers to trim the end of a line only to cut some already finished lines? aaaarg

If you haven't made that mistake then you haven't rigged a WWI airplane! ;D
