I think I am going to enjoy this forum. I'm Richard, living in a Greeneville a Tennessee. Retired from flying but enjoying building my 1/3 scale Fokker DVII-F.

Hi guys.
Thank you all for the warm welcome.
My DVII is a Glenn Torrance kit. So far the tail feathers and lower wings are built and the upper wing is on the construction table and close too completion. Will post some pics when I find out how to do it. It will be highly detailed.
I joined because everyone knows the plastic aircraft builders are insane when it comes to building and details  ;).

Hello Richard and welcome to this wonderful forum. That sounds like a really interesting and ambitious project you are undertaking. If you check back through the archives you'll see that one of the group build highlights concerned the D. VII.

Welcome to the Forum from the Mountains of Western North Carolina. Be sure to check out Bos' DVII build in the Group build. A Lot of info on control rigging. Have you chosen a scheme yet?

The DVII will be the Fokker built F model of the "Berlin Bear" on the cover of Ray Rimell's  Wingnut Wings  " Building the Fokker DVII.
