Hi Guy`s , it`s been along time since I posted on any thing that I have built ! Between work and my other hobbies I had litt
le time to work on the model . In the last two weeks I had plenty of time to complete the Fokker EIII for the Flight 19 Model contest which was held on 3-15-14 .

Willi,
Nice to see you post again! Your Fokker turned out Beautifully! The Turned Aluminum cowling, prop, and subtle fuselage weathering are all outstanding! Say hello to any of the Old gang at Flight 19 that are still around ! How did you do in the contest?

Old gang is still around just a lot older :). Well the turn out was not as good as last year and very few models :( . I took First with the Eindecker ,2nd with the Me 262b (#8), 2nd with 1/32 Tamiya zero .

Wow, that aluminum cowl effect is outstanding! Do you mind sharing the colors and the technique that you used on it?

Thanks for all the great remarks . I am glad everyone like`s the Fokker ! It now sits safe in the cabinet with the Fokker DVII :).

     Chris,

I used Tamiya German gray  two different shades and the same  technique Des shows on  how to pre-shade the wings on the home page on this site  . then for the stains I used clear smoke  .
                                                                                                               Thanks ,
