Title: Home made decals Fonts
Post by: Zabu on July 05, 2013, 10:56:08 AM
Don't know if i'm posting this in the right section... i hope so!

I'd like to share with you fellows a little something... fonts... for serial numbers!

These fonts are for those that for one or other reason have to make their own home decals/serial numbers.
They will go with any program that uses fonts (like word), they are made in True Type Format so you may zoom in at your will that there will be NO pixelization.
You just have to add them to other fonts, but after opening the zip file and one of the files an Instalation shortcut should appear.

They are:

Pfalz serial numbers
Albatros serial numbers
Austria-Hungary serial numbers
Fokker serial numbers

I hope that you may find them usefull!

Cheers.

Sorry guys... my fault , i'll try to explain better how to install these fonts.

1- Download Zip file

2- Open Zip file. Now you'll see 4 files from Pfalz; Albatros; Austria-Hungary and Fokker all having a .tts (true type format) extension. Ex: Albatros Serial Numbers.tts

3- Double click in one of those files, for it to open.

4- With the file opened, check your upper left corner, there will be two options: to print    and    to install, choose to install.

5- Do the same to the other fonts

6- Now open word or wordpad (from Windows). In the type of writing (where you choose Arial, Arial black or any other type) you will now have: Albatros, Austria, Fokker and Pfalz types

7- From those, choose the letter type you want... and have a happy writing! It will only work for numbers (serials) or with any letters or dot/dash that are in the font file.

If any more doubts please let me know.

Cheers.

Hi malaula!

Well i didn't make those fonts, they were kindly given from modelhound (Mike) back in theaerodrome forum a few years ago.

I don't know if Mike it still out there, best thing i can do for you, it's to give you his e-mail: [email protected]    subject should be "Phont Phile".

Don't know if he has any others fonts, but he his a great guy so you may try to e-mail him and see how it goes. I think that Bob (Buckles) should remeber Mike too back from those days.

Cheers.
