Simply beautiful work Tim! I managed to get one sheet of those rib tapes from Dr. Merrill before he closed up shop, I sure wish I'd gotten more now.

Catching up on your build has been a Pleasure Tim! Incredible Skills in all aspects of your builds. In particular the interior/engine scratch building, and wing corrections! Lovely Models!

Excellent progress. They certainly are a far cry from the basic kit!

Rib Tapes Completed:

I have finished the rib tapes on both aircraft. As I said before, neither one had CDL tapes but others of this type did. I was unable to find or cut any lozenge rib tapes that matched so went with this. The edges were hand painted. I like the look even if not completely accurate.

I have added the fuel lines down the left cabane struts but probably won’t see them in these photos.
Ready to attach the upper wing now!

Thanks for looking in!

I very much like the look of the CDL rib tapes too Tim. The photo with you holding the model really shows how small it is. That makes the hand painted lozenge section even more remarkable.

Richie stole what I was going to say! I keep forgetting the scale until you put things into perspective, and I rather like the look of those tapes too. I'm admiring your freehand work on the edges - lovely stuff!

I agree with Richie and Zac! Your free hand edges are amazing!! I have tried that and failed in 1/32nd scale  :-[

Parabellum MG

I’ve never used the Part photo etch Parabellum mg set before let’s see how they turn out.

They actually are easier than I expected to assemble. Not sure how I’m going to add the ammunition belt yet
The stock needs a little putty to fill in the edges, l used Mr Surfacer 500.
Almost finished with this build

What a super pair of Hannovers - surprising that they are Airfix!
