I seem to have missed a lot! The Mottling and shading is awesome. You must have shaken the Rust off quickly  ;D Looking even better with the markings. Gorgeous work!!

Thank you Steve and RAGIII  :)

Had 2 days off after easter, so wanted to finish my build. I made it! Just added the wire right now and I'm calling it good!

Originally wanted to do more post shading, but what I had in mind was difficult on a camo scheme. Ended up keeping it more simple and I think it came out alright.

Some final pictures tomorrow with a base and background. For now a few bench pictures  :)

Top cowling is removable.

For some reason I find the Fw 190 very appealing, it's probably my favourite aircraft to model. I think you've done a splendid job with the painting, really capturing the brutish look!

Love it, Ben, this tops the Dolphin (although my favorite so far is still your amazing Super Cobra). This is the first 1:35 aircraft model I've ever seen... I'll have to investigate further, so thanks for alerting me to the fact that they are, in fact, out there!

Thank you very much!  :)

Final pictures are giving me some trouble, but hopefully soon!

@Dutch - The cobra was a fun build, thanks! I got the Border Model - Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 Carrier Attack Bomber "Kate" - on pre order. It should be a stunning kit! Will start it as soon as a mask set is released.
I could be tempted with a more modern subject while I wait...  ;)

All in all Border definitely released a good kit! Took me about 6-7 Weeks to complete, which is pretty fast for me.

There are trouble area like poor manual and decals... and well some accuracy issues + missing parts for the A8 schemes.

However the fit is good and the details are amazing for the price (50€).

Just caught up here. Terrific model. Your preshading looks spot on to me, lovely subtle effects.
Not sure I'm happy about yet another scale but the kit certainly looks tempting enough.
Nice one.

Thank you very much Sandy!

As promised a few final pictures. The lighting was giving me some trouble, but here they are.

Magnificent Ben, your pre-shading is absolutely spectacular in it's realism as is the weathering, particularly on the undersurfaces. Beautiful work!
Cheers,
