another hansa brandenburg w12 by wingnut wings
« on: December 08, 2015, 12:42:10 AM »
HI
in parallell of my fokker I 've decided to start the build of my Hansa Brandenburg by wingnut wings
I hope to make mine as well as some who were built here

you know the box and I add aviattic décals
and some parts taurus model (sparkplug)

Quote

and some parts from HGW models
seatbelts
engine
parabellum

Quote

it's my first wingnuts wing kit so I follow the notice and it  seems they are a lot of work

at first I try to reproduce the wood effet on the fuselage (thank forum for the tips)

Quote

while the oil was drying I prepare the wings

white shade in black or brown to make some effects and gloss clear for decalling

thank Des Jeroen and RAGIII
It seems that taurus aftermarket for the mercedes is not appropriate  for the W12

So I will use it for another build ;D

You have used excellent colours to simulate the wood, very well done.

You've got a very nice start here Moustique, the woodwork, detail, and the weathering/aging added all look really great. I have this Kit very close to arriving on the Bench so I'll be following your Build closely!
Cheers,
Lance
