Bud, I would also think the same way you do. However, my beloved one chose the flower scheme and now, looking at the completed model I am thankful to her, it does look very nice.
Bertl, the story behind the Roland wings in Kraków Museum is a bit mysterious. I have heard that TVAL offered to build a replica for the museum and add the copy of Hispano-driven Bristol Fighter (which I showed some months ago) for th exchange to the original fuselage. And the same story-teller told me that the museum refused. Unfortunately I live almost 500km from Krakow, so I cannot just go there to check what is going on. I do not know if the wings for Roland and the TVAL F.2B are still there (the original info was that it remains there till the end of last October). And there is a silence about this. I am very curious, what will be the outcome.
In the meantime, the original fuselage forms a part of a very fine exposition set out for the anniversary of WW1 outbreak.
