Any good model shops in Paris?
« on: June 04, 2016, 05:52:33 PM »
In just over a week I fly into Paris (assuming it hasn't floated away by then), taking a small tour group to Le Mans for the 24 Hours and beyond.

Does anyone know of a god model shop anywhere in Paris? I'm sure there must be but I have yet to come across one.

Thanks

Tony

There's a good one right beside le Gare de Lyon. Lots of kits of planes, AFV, aftermarket stuff etc. pp... Sure not as cheap as any web-shop, but still ok. I forgot the shop's name, but will look it up and post it, as soon, as I am at home. I am sure, there are sone fellow-followers here on forum, who know the name of the shop too and help us out quickly.

Thanks for this. I intend to send my group to the Louvre for an afternoon while I look for other treasures!

Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Those shop called EuroMaquette, not very easy to find. You need to cross railroad station, the shop is in a shopcenter on other side of the road by using a glass bridge.

But be careful, currently, Paris could be flood by the Seine. For example, the Louvres is closed.
Best regards.
Alain.
Use the force, Luke.

Alain, vraiment, Euro-Maquette, c'est ça!
You can have a look into the shop and find a map/route to it at www.euro-maquette.eu.
But, Tony, if you should have the chance to visit the Louvre, have a look at euro-maquettes the next time you're in Paris!

Thanks Richard.

I've been to the Louvre a few times already so I don't feel guilty about taking everyone there and leaving them to it while I go elsewhere :)
