Hello ladies and gentlemen,
I'm Dany, living in Bruges, Belgium and I joined because I have grown an interest in WW I planes and early tanks. Even though I've been a modeller for many years, the subject is rather new to me.
So, basicly I'm here to learn :)

Welcome aboard, Dany! So glad you found us. I look forward to seeing your work displayed here. You know, ever since my wife and I watched the film, "In Bruges", we have wanted to visit. We do not share Colin Farrell's opinion of your fair city. ;)

Thank you for the warm welcome here.
At the moment I'm still working on a cardboard 1/24 steam locomotive. But with the centennial coming up I want to (scratch)build a biplane.
As a youngster I've read all the "Biggles" novels, so it may be of no surprise that one of my favourite planes from that period would be the Sopwitch Camel, although the general shapes of the Albatross apeal to me as well.

My wife and I visited Bruges a couple years ago, and fell in love with your city. How wonderful for you to actually live there!
I majored in Historical Studies while in college (in Texas). Prior to our trip, I asked one of my professors (who has spent quite a bit of time in Europe) what he considers the best place to see. He said, "no question... Bruges."
Best regards, Jim
