I really don't know why this one gave me so much headaches for such a simple out of box build . I was even questioning my skills if I bit off more then I can chew . Nope , that wasn't it . It was the snoopy effect ! Or at least that is where I'm pointing the finger and not just the finger but the moving finger !
Ever time I saw it or even picking it up to work on it created a lot of anger and frustration and I still want to smash it with giant green hands . But she is finished on the shelf with the others .

Hi Terri:
I think it turned out great. I wonder why you hate it? Gremlins, Toads, Demon of plastic? Whatever, you managed to exorcise the evil and it turned out pretty doggone good.
Bravo Zulu Terri.
-
Nice one T, glad you got it over the line.
When you think about it, very authentic - remember the Camel probably accounted for more of it's own pilots than enemy ones!

Great work Terri, I certainly admire the perserverence this one has demanded, worth it all in the end.
Cheers,
Dave.

Victory!
This mere piece of plastic did not defeat you!
Go have a tall cool one. ;D

Looks lovely from where I'm sitting.
Well done, Terri!!

She looks very good, and the checkered scheme is of great visual impact.

Well Terri, this one may have fought you hard all the way but it certainly doesn't show in the end product! Great scheme, I love the "worn look" you've produced, and a real class model to be proud of!
Cheers,
Lance

Terri,
Thanks for sharing your ups and downs with this kit. The finished product looks great!

Love it Terri!
And what a great scheme...

Hi guys !
Thank you all very much for dropping with the kind comments :)
mgunns , I'm not a big fan of the Camel so this could have been one of the factors which aided in the frustration . Only got the kit because I really like the scheme

I really like it! A great job, Terri! I'm glad you saw it through... and I admire your determination! ATB, Marc.

Great news Terri that you have wrestled this one into submission! And what a super model that you have made too - wonderful colour scheme and despite the problems that you experienced, they do not show.
Stephen.

Thanks Stephen :)

Nicely finished, very colourful, one to be satisfied with. Still, if it makes you angry, just let it sit safely on its place in the cabinet, do not touch it, I am sure it is a very fine addition to your collection!
-
Thanks Prze , yeah ..won't be touching it for while now and it does look pretty good within the collection :)
Terri

Wow that turned out really nicely. I've never been attracted to clown-like schemes on WW1 aircraft but this is weathered so well that it looks excellent. Well done, Terri.
Cheers,
Gary

Thanks Gary , I do try and not over do it with the weathering and try to keep it realistic . Your book has been a really good aid in this :)

Very nice outfit for the Camel - great, that you finished this little beast!
That is a fine addition to your collection.
I had this model on my search list for a while, but finally caught the Camel with the blue-white nose ;)
Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Frank :) I have one more Eduard kit in the stash , but I don't think I will be building that one .

Well thank you so much for that Terri - that's very kind of you to say! ;D

Yikes Terri, how did I miss this one! That's bloody brilliant. I do love a good checker-board scheme, and yours is one of the best.
Great work!

Terri, I mentioned already that Eduard will release a new tool Camel. It will be around September 2021 and guess which livery the first kit? This red checker board scheme! According to them "this will be the most detailed First World War aircraft yet produced". Let's see, have enough of the old Camels in stash.
Cheers,
Frank

Late to the party, but really nice work and beating Eduard to the punch !!
