Title: 1/48 pilot figures
Post by: menright on December 31, 2014, 06:04:29 AM
About 1/48 WW1 pilots, preferably seated, British or German.

Would anyone be able to provide a source for such an item?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

Thanks for that,

I did look at that section but still not exactly what I need.

Presently staring down a Tamiya WW2 German pilot with a view to surgery if nothing turns up,

Michael

CopperState used to have some good seated British pilots, not sure if the new owner still carries these or not.  They were resin with separate arms and heads.

The Model Cellar has several very nice British and German 1/48 figures:

Scroll down to the 1/48 section. None of them are seated, but Heckler and Goros does have this set with a 1/48 seated German pilot and mechanic:

Hope this helps - Scott

Black Dog have a German Pilot on offer, Standing around, doing nothing... He is dressed with a Pudelmütze, which is a nice idea for something different.

PJ Productions has a fairly generic pilot climbing out of the cockpit, I have seen him used as both a German and American in different photos.
