Spectacular work on the engine, Przemo!  Great progress on the fuselage, too!
Cheers,
Bud

Exemplary engine work.
Did you follow the Taurus valve spring layout?
Looks like a factory fresh aircraft.

Thank you, everybody.

Beautiful work Przemo, another masterpiece in the making. Are you going to apply weathering to the engine later?

Sure, some dirt will be added before attaching the engine. BTW I have mentioned it in my post  ;)

Yes, the springs follow the layout given in Taurus instructions.

I see that work has exceeded the halfway point, as always everything looks great: inside of the fuselage and the engine too, top class.
Did you find any pics showing how to lead linkage to control lever in rear cabin - just above an empty bomb rack?

Thank you, gentlemen.

Buzby, yes, I have found one photo in WD where the front cockpit is shown and there is a linkage running along the starboard wall at the height fitting the level of the lever in the rear cockpit. So I assumed this was that missing linkage from the rear cockpit. Duly added to the model.

And some more progress.
Hinged Gaspatch turnbuckles prepared - 6 small ones for the control surfaces at the tail and 22 large ones for the interplane and undercarriage rigging.

And a small proof, that WNW's, rightly called the best model kits in the world, are not perfect in all aspects. Here I found three places calling for significant filling, levelling unpleasant steps and sanding - underside of the top wing joint between the centre piece and outer wing panels as well as two spots under the fuselage.
I am showing this not to complain but to indicate, that contrary to some opinions I heard recently that these kits are shake-and-bake, they are not so. And they surely leave some space for amendments, corrections, etc. In many cases the photos on the instruction booklets show that the kit parts are missing some detail.

Some paintwork results on the wings, tail-feathers and fuselage. There are upper wing checkboards shadows, shading on the top surfaces, metal fittings and wash still to be done. But the bulk of the work is already there  :)

Oooo like a brand new plane!
Translucent effect is very nice , look forward to the rest of the work.
I went in a checked your engine work with the valve train , looks ok , I can see where it is a bit of a problem lining up the springs. If you look at page 3 of The Gotha you will see some effort to help with this ,  for future reference...
