Oh that’s nice!  Too bad it’s in the wrong scale though.  I like the early type exhaust on it.

That is looking mighty nice (as if Lukasz was capable of anything but!). I'm glad to see it in 1/48, that's more my speed right now.

It's encouraging to know that folks are out there who have picked up the large-scale WW1 torch after WnW was flung into the Outer Void, Where There is Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth.

Back in the early 1970s I never could have imagined a 1:32 Halberstadt einsitzkampfer, so it's great to see that such a thing exists (or will soon exist). But no matter how cool they are, USD $250 is way out of my price range. I'll look forward to seeing what kind of magic you work with it, though, Mike :)

Hi all,
Update from 'Lukgraph'

The model kit will include decals for 3 paint schemes.
Additionally, there will be two registrations "H" and "8" for the Khaki-brown camouflage version.
The decal with crosses separately and with a ready-made white background will provide the modeler with a choice depending on the preferred technique.
For those interested, we will send a design of vector masks for cutting with a plotter (cutting on your own)

Interesting - I could be interested in this one if it indeed releases in 1/48. I still have the Blue Max kit in the stash somewhere, that i've intended to build for, oh, the past 20 years...  ;D

Cheers

Not wishing to steal anyone’s thunder but this is now available for pre-order in 1/32 and 1/48.
Looking at the spread of parts, it appears we may have the same issues with rib tapes and wing reinforcements (as the Hanriot)

Did anyone else notice that there were both Mercedes and Argus engines?  :)

Where did you see that?

Picture #5 on their site shows two engines, but the box states "Mercedes D II Engine", not sure if there is another boxing in the future or if both engines are included. I purchased the Friedrichshafen FF.33L, it too showed two engines (one painted one on the tree), it only had one (all it needed).  Regards, Juan

The Halberstadt D.III, which was ordered on July 1916, was equipped with the Argus engine. Obviously, Lukgraph plans a future D.III boxing.

That would be my guess as well.

Good morning/afternoon/evening Everyone. This is my 1st post here :)
I hope to visit more often if time permits.

Short information - we are starting to ship Halberstadt D.II. in both scales.
I hope that there will be some construction report here.
Best Regards

Welcome aboard Łukasz, it is so wonderful to have you here! Please feel free to make a post in the Your Introduction (https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?board=1.0) area!

As you can probably tell from earlier posts a lot of us are very excited for the Halberstadt so it's wonderful news to hear they are now shipping.

Mine arrived the other day.  Nice kit.  Only one engine, the Mercedes.  So, possibly a D.III in the future?

Hi all,
Mine also arrived.
Unfortunately, three of the 3D printed sets had broken parts.
All of the 3D prints were together and wrapped in a single sheet of bubble wrap inside their box.
Obviously the prints were in contact with each other.
However, I emailed Lucas and as expected, he got back to me straight away and is sending replacements.
So far I have eleven 'Lukgraph' kits and this was the first to have this sort of 'transit' damage.

I had not looked in the box until reading your note.  Undercarriage leg snapped in two.  Fixable, but I will contact Lukas.

Thanks for the tip.

Hi all,
Lucas is very good at getting replacements sent out.
It does seem that some printed parts are more fragile than others.
He did say better packaging would be used in the future,

Mike
