Hi,
Last from the bench. Started in 2014, left aside for a long time, I finished it a few days ago.
I built a Pfalz DXII (in 2014 too) in the spirit of the famous movie : Hell's Angels from Howard Hugues. I took over the decoration of the Smithsonian one :

My project, at this time, was also to represent the plane which took the aerial scenes, here :

So, my interpretation of this plane which, because of its function, had to be more then visible to all the others :

For rookies, I recommend the movie Aviator which gives a fairly good idea of the shooting conditions.
Best regards.

Nice one, Alain.
That's certainly the most way-out Brisfit I've ever seen!
Excellent modelling, especially the hint of the roundels under the technicolour top-coat.
Are you going to do Squadrons of fake fokkers to be filmed by it?
Cheers
Sandy

That is a superb model. The camera equipment is first class - how did you scratch built it? The finish is very realistic - the worn fabric effect with the shadow roundels is very well done.
A mini-masterpiece.

totally rad.

Ooooh, yess, I like it!
Wil you show your Brisfit together with your Pfalz D.XII, please, Alain?
-
I can't add anything here that others have not said, just outstanding on every level sir.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your kind words. I'm going to take a "family" picture soon. The camera is scratched with parts of Evergreen and a ball bearing cage of the right diameter. I don't think to keep on working on this movie's planes any more. I was away from modeling the last four years because I passed a Master in History and I began participate as a volunteer on archeological excavations.
Have a good evening.
Best regards.
Alain.

An incredible build. It's nice to see something so different. I will take your advice and watch the movie Aviator.

It is the most unusual Biff I have ever seen. And finely finished. Congratulations.

How wonderful! And as a Howard Hughes fan this really tickles my fancy. Beautifully done!!

I 100% agree. When do you tackle the rest of the fleet? I'm eager to see the Sikorsky ;D
