Tank Centenary in the news
« on: September 26, 2016, 01:02:30 PM »
The 100th anniversary of the first use of tanks in warfare saw a Mk IV replica roll into central London the other day.

A report of the event has now been run on News.com.au:

http://www.news.com.au/technology/innovation/inventions/tank-rolls-through-central-london-to-mark-historic-day/news-story/891cbf7f0f1cca1eb43b3b9e90b3927e

The article is by Royce Wilson, my son, who is a Brisbane journalist flown to London by the Wargaming games company to report on the event. While there Royce also visited the refurbished Imperial War Museum and the Science Museum to get photos of the WW1 items which will soon be shared with Forum members.
