Spad XI. 1/72 Roseplane vac
« on: October 07, 2022, 03:45:42 AM »
Next up is the Roseplane Spad XI. This is a nice kit once offered by Roseplane. It has decals and resin details. I added much of the Airwaves Spad XIII etch set. Tail datum and unit markings are from the Planet models resin kit.

Thanks for looking in!

Beautiful! I recently bought the Planet models resin kit as I couldn't find any other SPAD 2 seater kit.
That is definitely inspiration!

Tim,

Your vac turned out way better than my resin one for sure.  Very nice work.

Lovely to see another of the lesser known types. especially when made to this very high standard.

Thank you all for your encouraging support.  I enjoy most building the esoteric types. I guess that’s why I have a lot of vaccuform builds.  I’m thinking of a Curtiss F boat next.

Not to indulge in peer pressure but I for one would dearly love to see that! Some (related?) inspiration for you:

Yes, I must also agree! I wish one of these were available by a main stream Company! Beautiful Work!
