Title: Bristol Scout 1264 Rebuilding Grandad's Aircraft
Post by: RichieW on June 08, 2020, 11:06:05 PM
It's just arrived in the post but a quick flick through suggests this is going to be a great read.

There are a few chapters on the development and history of the type which leads on to the author discovering a part of his Grandad's favourite wartime mount in his workshop and subsequent rebuilding of a complete, airworthy aircraft.

This Scout can be seen at the Shuttleworth Collection, Old Warden Aerodrome. It's a real beauty!
