Coming together beautifully Toby, I love the blue you used on the fuselage.

It's coming along very nicely Toby! It's a pleasure to follow this Build as the one I did a year or so back is one of my favorite models and I will probably do another. This is Roden's best 1:32 offering in my judgement and a great example of how, with a little extra effort, their Kits can stand with the "best"!
Great work, and I look forward to seeing the final product!
Cheers,
Lance

Looks good! I tend to struggle a bit with decals on those scalloped training edges, but yours look good! :)

Thanks all. I'm about to embark on the rib strips and can anyone tell me was there a strip placed on the leading edge of the wings?

Toby,
While building mine I studied a lot of photos of the aircraft; I concluded there was a leading edge strip on the wings. Whether that was common to all the examples seems another question.......... :-\

Thanks Lance. I suspected as much. Also I’m tempted to put some patchwork on the wings as repairs for gunshot damage but can’t seem to find any references for it. I know I’ve seen a picture of lozenge repaired but can’t find it.

It looks very crisp, Toby. Are you going to blend in the lozenge surfaces a little bit?
Best regards
Filip

I used masking tape on the wing to give it a sliglty raised aspect then sprayed over with primer and gloss varnish.
